                               These days marinas, but not all, have facilities for emptying your head’s

                                holding tank by connecting to the “Waste” deck fitting already on your boat.

                                Emptying waste, last time we heard, was approved beyond the three mile limit.

                                Until all marinas have waste services the Coast Guard has been somewhat lax

                                in enforcing the at sea rule, expecting the good ethics of boat owners to not

                                empty their own tanks in sensitive areas like harbors.  A macerating/”Y” valve

                                option let’s you turn waste into a readily dissolvable organic liquid before it gets
